Ukrainian Side Claims Russian Military Attacked Civilian Ships and Buses, Resulting in 1 Death and 9 Injuries
On June 19, Xinhua News Agency reported from Kyiv (Reporter Li Dongxu) that Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba stated on social media that two civilian vessels flying foreign flags were attacked by Russian military drones in the Black Sea, resulting in 1 death and 5 injuries.
Kuleba noted that the attack led to the death of 1 crew member on a vessel flying the flag of Panama and injured 2 others, one of whom was seriously injured; the other vessel, flying the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, had 3 crew members who sustained minor injuries in the attack.
Kuleba did not mention the time of the attack on the vessels.
On the same day, the military administration of Kherson Oblast in Ukraine stated on social media that a minibus in the Korabelnyi district of the oblast was attacked by Russian military drones in the morning, resulting in 4 injuries. (End)
