U.S. Central Command Claims Completion of New Round of Strikes on Iranian Military Targets
On July 13 local time, the U.S. Central Command announced that U.S. forces had completed a new round of strikes against Iranian military targets at 10:15 PM Eastern Time on the same day.
The U.S. Central Command stated that the operation lasted approximately 5 hours, during which U.S. forces targeted military objectives in Iran, including Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa Island, and Bandar Abbas, aiming to further weaken Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping.
According to information released by the U.S., precision-guided munitions were used in this operation to strike Iran's coastal defense systems, missile and drone facilities, as well as maritime combat capabilities.
The U.S. Central Command also stated that there are currently over 50,000 U.S. troops deployed in the Middle East, and U.S. forces will continue to maintain a high state of readiness and be prepared for action at any time.
