Today (September 27), the Chinese Coast Guard organized multiple vessels to conduct law enforcement control exercises near Huangyan Island in the South China Sea, effectively testing rapid response and emergency handling capabilities.

With the urgent battle alarm sounding, the Chinese Coast Guard fleet, consisting of vessels such as the Wanshan, Chuanshan, and Sifang, immediately adjusted their course and rapidly maneuvered to assemble in the target sea area. The coast guard law enforcement officers responded to the order, quickly took their positions, and prepared for combat.

CCTV reporter Wu Bing: It is now 8 AM on September 27, and I am following the Chinese Coast Guard Wanshan fleet sailing in the waters near Huangyan Island. Just ahead to my right is Huangyan Island. Currently, multiple Chinese Coast Guard vessels are organizing law enforcement control exercises. This includes the Wanshan, as well as the nearby Chuanshan and Sifang, which are different types and tonnages of law enforcement vessels. They will focus on practicing actions such as boarding inspections, intercepting intrusions, and forced towing, testing multi-vessel coordination, rapid response, and emergency handling capabilities.

This exercise set up multiple foreign vessels illegally intruding into the waters under China's jurisdiction around Huangyan Island. After receiving a simulated situation report, the commander quickly issued orders, and the fleet advanced at high speed to conduct verification and identification, and to control and drive away the target vessels.
