Yemen's Houthi Forces Claim to Have Attacked Riyadh Airport in Saudi Arabia Again
Xinhua News Agency, Kuwait City, October 8 (Reporter Yin Zha) Sanaa reports: The Yemeni Houthi armed group stated on the 8th that it used ballistic missiles for the second time that day to strike King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, while warning relevant personnel to stay away from Saudi oil facilities identified by them as "targets of attack."
The military spokesperson for the Houthi armed group, Yahya Saree, issued a statement on social media that the organization launched a ballistic missile at King Khalid International Airport at noon that day, and the missile "successfully hit the target," causing damage to the facilities and disrupting air traffic.
Saree also issued a warning to workers in the Saudi oil industry, urging experts, engineers, and other employees to stay away from oil facilities and nearby areas identified by the Houthi armed group as potential military "targets of attack."
Earlier on the 8th, the Yemeni Houthi armed group claimed that it had struck King Khalid International Airport and launched an attack on the Yemeni government forces near the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.
According to a statement released on social media by the Saudi-led coalition that day, the coalition's air defense forces intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi armed group towards Riyadh, as well as a ballistic missile heading towards Khamees Mushait in southwestern Saudi Arabia.
