Zero Mistakes, Zero Errors: This is the Passionate Responsibility of the Rocket Women Soldiers

On the training ground of the Rocket Force, there is a group of female warriors. They have shed their youthful innocence, etching their youthful blood and passion on the missile launch site, using their seemingly weak yet strong arms to bear the heavy burden of defending the homeland, writing the passionate responsibility of the new era's female rocket soldiers.

In the mountainous area after the rain, under the scorching sun, the moisture rises, and the training ground is as hot as a steamer. Just past 8 a.m., the temperature has already soared to over 30 degrees Celsius. The female soldiers of a certain brigade's female launch unit in the Rocket Force have long begun their full-element live-fire launch drills. Seizing the position, quickly camouflaging, erecting the missile... the entire set of tactical movements is coherent, rapid, and decisive. After a round of high-intensity training, sweat has soaked their camouflage uniforms, continuously dripping down their cheeks.

Female soldier Hao Mengyue's combat position is less than two square meters, and in this cramped space, there is no hint of cool comfort, only the extreme temperature differences that persist year-round and the complicated and demanding combat tasks. Here, she needs to accurately complete the step-by-step loading and repeated verification of missile data, with zero errors and zero mistakes throughout the process.

Female soldier Kong Ting is shy, with a gentle expression. This petite girl has been fighting side by side with the massive missile launch vehicle in the deep mountains and on night missions for over three years.

Rocket Force UnitKong Ting: When the vehicle is moving very slowly, the steering wheel becomes very heavy. Sometimes, after turning around to leave a position, I am already drenched in sweat. Generally, we move at night, and when I feel sleepy, I pinch my thigh to try to keep myself awake. Although it is very hard, I find joy in it.

Finding joy in it, youth is worth it. This group of girls, with an average age of less than 22, have endured hardships, fatigue, and even injuries. Female soldier Lin Jie, with 11 years of service, says that the hardest and most exhausting days are the ones worth remembering, and every scar on their bodies is a medal of military service and a memory of growth.

Day after day of tempering, night after night of steadfastness, all for the moment of drawing swords and going into battle at a critical time, to win on the battlefield. This female launch unit has repeatedly gone to the front lines, successfully completing major tasks such as joint exercises and live-fire launches. Just last year, they competed alongside several male launch units and ultimately won a significant live-fire launch task for the troops.
