The F-15SG is the Republic of Singapore Air Force's advanced F-15E-derived multi-role fighter. Singapore's Ministry of Defence fact sheet identifies Boeing as the manufacturer and describes the F-15SG as a multi-role fighter aircraft. Airforce Technology notes Singapore's 2005 contract with Boeing for 12 aircraft to replace retired A-4SU Super Skyhawk attack aircraft, with later expansion. For Singapore, the F-15SG provides a high-end long-range strike and air-combat platform that complements F-16s and future F-35s.
