Some have their birthdays on August 1st
Their names carry
The expectations of their parents and the marks of the times
Yang Jianjun, a retired veteran from Henan
is one of them
Yang Jianjun's father was an old revolutionary
His father named him "Jianjun"
Later, he followed in his father's footsteps
and also became a soldier
In his second year of service
he went to the front lines
But 16 of his comrades never returned
Some people protect the country with their lives
Some people protect the memories of those lives with their remaining years
For 17 years, Yang Jianjun and several comrades
have visited the parents of fallen martyrs
