Canada Commits to Continue Providing Military Aid to Ukraine
On February 24, Xinhua News Agency reported from Ottawa (Reporter Lin Wei) that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney issued a statement on the 24th, promising to continue providing military assistance to Ukraine.
In the statement, Carney indicated that the Canadian Armed Forces would extend their mission to train Ukrainian personnel.
Carney outlined a new round of aid plans, which includes approximately 2 billion Canadian dollars (about 1.46 billion US dollars) in military assistance, as well as 20 million Canadian dollars (about 14.6 million US dollars) for repairing infrastructure damaged in the conflict.
