Germany and Ukraine to Jointly Produce Drones with a Range of 1500 Kilometers
Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, May 11 (Reporter Li Dongxu) - German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who is visiting the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, stated to the media on the 11th that Germany and Ukraine will jointly produce long-range drones with a range of 1,500 kilometers.
Pistorius said at a joint press conference held in Kyiv that Germany plans to establish a joint venture with Ukraine to jointly research and produce various types of drones with ranges covering from less than 100 kilometers to 1,500 kilometers.
According to the Ukrainian National News Agency, Pistorius made a surprise visit to Kyiv that day and signed a defense cooperation memorandum with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, with both sides set to launch a cooperation plan to jointly develop defense technologies and support innovative startups.
