In Memory and Tribute: One Year Since the Passing of Huang Xuhua, Who Tested Nuclear Submarines in His 60s and Went Deep into the Sea!

On April 29, 1988, China's nuclear submarine conducted its first extreme deep dive test. Before diving, some participants wrote letters to their families, while others took "life-and-death photos." The chief designer, Huang Xuhua, in his sixties, personally led the dive. During the process, the immense pressure of the deep sea caused the cabin walls to emit a tearing sound, and the floor was pressed upwards.
