On the morning of the 12th local time, the Iranian military's public relations department issued a statement saying that in response to the ongoing attacks by the U.S. military on certain areas in southern Iran, the Iranian military launched attack drones earlier that day against the U.S. military's "Patriot" air defense system, ammunition depots, and radar stations located in Kuwait.

The statement also mentioned that in another round of drone operations, the Iranian military targeted the U.S. military's communication systems and radar stations located in Bahrain.

At around 7 a.m. local time on the 12th, the Kuwaiti armed forces announced that they were "intercepting" hostile targets entering Kuwaiti airspace.

The Kuwaiti armed forces stated that the interception process may cause explosions, and the public should not panic upon hearing them, but should adhere to the previously issued safety guidelines.
