Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, November 1 (Reporter Shadati) - The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the 1st, stating that according to relevant Iranian laws, the British Navy and Air Force are designated as "terrorist organizations," and the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) is recognized as a "hostile entity."

The statement said that over the past year, the British government has taken hostile actions against Iran, not only by providing military and logistical bases and facilities under British jurisdiction to participate in the U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran but also by deciding to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran as an "illegal organization." Based on the resolution of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran and the hostile actions of the British government over the past year, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced the designation of the British Navy and Air Force as "terrorist organizations" and recognized MI6 as a "hostile entity."

The statement said that the Iranian government strongly condemns the policies and actions of the British government against Iran, which violate the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law. The Iranian government reiterated its determination to take necessary measures to defend Iran's national security and national interests.

On July 13, the British government announced that it had submitted a draft regulation to Parliament to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran and two other organizations as "illegal organizations." The Iranian Foreign Ministry subsequently condemned this move by the British government and warned that Britain would face political, legal, and diplomatic consequences.
