Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 9 - Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly Speaker Ghalibaf delivered a speech on the 40th day of mourning for former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the 9th, stating that despite ongoing pressure from external forces, Iran's defense capabilities and social operations remain robust, and the cohesion among the people is still very high. If the United States honors its commitments, negotiations between Iran and the U.S. may be initiated; otherwise, Iran will consider resuming actions, and the Iranian people and armed forces are prepared for various situations.
Ghalibaf stated that Iran insists on combining military and diplomatic means and is confident in achieving ultimate victory in the war. The acceptance of the negotiation principles proposed by Iran is a phased achievement for the Iranian side.
