Supreme Leader of Iran Proposes Three Points
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 9 (Reporter Chen Xiao, Shadati) Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei delivered a written speech on the evening of the 9th regarding the 40th day of mourning for former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and current military conflicts, proposing three points: the aggressors must compensate for the losses, the management of the Strait of Hormuz will enter a new phase, and Iran will never abandon its legitimate rights and will consider all "resistance fronts" in the region as a whole.
Mojtaba reflected on the recent developments in the situation, stating that Iran has made significant sacrifices in the conflict, accusing the enemy of committing serious crimes, and expressing remembrance and mourning for Ali Khamenei. He announced that the Iranian nation has achieved a "decisive victory" in this "imposed war," with Iran rising as an important power and the hegemonic system heading towards decline, all of which is a result of the blood-soaked struggle of the Iranian military and people.
Mojtaba particularly emphasized the importance of public participation: "Your voices in the squares will influence the outcome of negotiations." He called for national unity, urging the public to remain actively involved and support each other to alleviate the pressures of war, and reminded the public to be vigilant against information released by hostile media.
Regarding the regional situation, Mojtaba addressed Iran's "southern neighbors," calling on them to correctly understand the current situation, to distance themselves from the "oppressors who exploit you," and to show goodwill towards Iran. He clearly stated three points: first, Iran will definitely seek "war reparations" from the aggressors and demand accountability for the "blood debts of martyrs"; second, Iran's management of the Strait of Hormuz will enter a new phase; third, Iran will never abandon its legitimate rights and will consider all "resistance fronts" in the region as a unified whole.
Mojtaba stated that Iran will advance its established goals at both the negotiating table and the battlefield, "completely defeating the enemy."
