The report stated that the Aerospace Force of the Revolutionary Guard used multiple ballistic missiles to strike the F-35 maintenance hangar and parking area at the U.S. military base in Azraq, Jordan, in retaliation for the U.S. attack on Iran's Qeshm Island. This strike completely destroyed three U.S. F-35 fighter jets, with another three severely damaged.
