Iran's Supreme Leader Calls for Immediate Response to Potential US-Israel Attacks

On October 31, Xinhua News Agency reported from Tehran that Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba stated in a declaration that he met with senior commanders of the Iranian armed forces and ordered an "immediate, strong, and geographically unrestricted response" to any potential threats from the United States and Israel.

Mujtaba said in the statement that the preparation for intelligent combat against the enemy is a fundamental prerequisite for achieving maximum deterrence, and that "an immediate, strong, and geographically unrestricted response" must be given to any level or type of threat.

Mujtaba stated: "If Iran's enemies resume military or terrorist attacks, it will be up to the Iranian armed forces to decide when and under what conditions these attacks will end."

Mujtaba also called for the Iranian armed forces to update their target list to include "all assets" of the United States and Israel within the scope of strikes. He further ordered the Iranian armed forces to increase the production of ammunition and weapons needed for reconnaissance, support, and combat operations.

Mujtaba made these statements during a meeting with Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Abdollahi, Commander of the Islamic Republic Army Hatami, and Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Vahidi.
