Jiang Bin: Some individuals in the Philippines have repeatedly hyped up false narratives related to China, which have long lost credibility. The Philippines frequently provokes and stirs trouble at sea, infringing upon China's territorial sovereignty and maritime rights, and colludes with external forces to create chaos in the South China Sea, which seriously violates the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea and harms the common interests of regional countries. Stirring up trouble is unpopular, and creating issues out of nothing will not find a market. In fact, those who fabricate lies, intimidate the public, and incite confrontation are the real threats to the national interests and the well-being of the people of the Philippines. We are not afraid of the rising winds and waves, but hope for calm seas. China will continue to take effective measures to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests and maintain regional peace and stability.
