► Navantia and Marine Instruments to collaborate on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions for the Maritime and Defence Sectors

Madrid, 30 September 2026 – Navantia, an international leader in the design, construction, and lifecycle support of high-technology vessels, and Marine Instruments, a Spanish company specializing in advanced technological solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote collaboration on ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems for the maritime and defence sectors.

The agreement will enable both companies to identify and develop joint initiatives to define, integrate, validate, and deploy technologies designed to collect, process, manage, and exploit information in maritime and defence environments.

This collaboration combines Navantia’s expertise in naval platforms and the design, development, and integration of defence systems with Marine Instruments’ capabilities in unmanned systems, remote sensing, communications, and applied intelligence.

The areas of cooperation may encompass the entire information cycle, from data collection through sensors to its processing and operational use. The objective is to advance solutions that enhance situational awareness and support faster and more effective responses to a wide range of maritime scenarios.
