New Members Join the Ten-Thousand-Ton Destroyer! A Close Look at the First Training of 109 and 110

The Type 055 destroyer
is our country's independently developed and built fourth-generation destroyer
integrating advanced radar and universal vertical launch
with comprehensive radio frequency capabilities
serving as the armed escort for aircraft carrier formations
and also as the core of distant sea missions

Recently, the Type 055 destroyer family has added new members
with the commissioning of the 9th ship, Dongguan, and the 10th ship, Anqing
which conducted their first at-sea training in a certain area of the East China Sea
Let's take a look together↓↓↓

A certain destroyer formation of the Eastern Theater Navy
composed of Dongguan, Dazhou, Hangzhou
Xuzhou, and Xiangtan ships
set sail to a certain area of the East China Sea
to conduct multi-subject, all-element
realistic joint training
to further hone the formation's coordinated combat capabilities and
the core combat effectiveness of the ships

"Battle alarm!"
As the formation just left the dock
the alarm suddenly sounded
the officers and soldiers responded to the order
and quickly rushed to their battle stations

A realistic drill was immediately launched against an "enemy situation" involving air and
surface threats
In the face of an "enemy" drone
conducting a low-altitude surprise attack
the ships in the formation relied on
an integrated command system
to quickly establish
a three-layer air defense firepower network at long, medium, and short ranges
various types of radars rapidly locked onto targets
and utilized multiple weapons to organize a counterattack

As the smoke cleared, another crisis arose
the formation that had just completed air defense
immediately transitioned to a maritime attack state
After the radar detected a target
the ships adjusted their course
quickly occupying attack positions
the missile systems were rapidly prepared
and the fire control positions of each ship closely coordinated
With the commander's order
they simulated strikes against "enemy" surface vessels
successfully eliminating the target

On the other side, a certain destroyer formation of the Eastern Theater Navy
composed of Anqing, Shigatse, and Suzhou ships
and several other vessels set sail
to a certain area of the East China Sea
to conduct specialized and refined training on multiple subjects

The ships coordinated seamlessly
successively forming maritime strike and air defense
formation alert movements
Anqing flexibly adjusted its course, accurately positioning
successfully completing various maneuvering actions

Subsequently, the formation entered the anti-submarine training area
with "dark currents" stirring underwater
the command post ordered the anti-submarine helicopter to take off
to complete networking with the ships in the formation
and conduct a net-style search for underwater targets

"Battle alarm!
Suspicious echoes detected
suspected submarine targets found"
In the face of a complex situation
the onboard aircraft and the ship formation closely coordinated
quickly occupying advantageous positions
locking onto the "enemy" target's location
and decisively implementing simulated strikes

The 10,000-ton destroyer cuts through waves and surges
not only accelerating
the solid steps of advanced combat capability construction
but also vividly reflecting the People's Navy's determination to strengthen its maritime power and move towards the deep blue

The officers and soldiers, in the spirit of "pioneers"
transform the modernization and intelligence advantages of the new warships
into battlefield advantages
sharpening their winning skills in repeated confrontation training
and being ready to showcase their prowess in the future's turbulent seas
