Russia claims to strike Ukrainian energy transportation facilities; Ukraine claims to repel multiple Russian attacks.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the 12th that in the past 24 hours, the Russian military has struck energy and transportation infrastructure serving the Ukrainian military in 149 areas, as well as temporary deployment locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and foreign mercenaries. Russian air defense forces shot down 3 precision-guided aerial bombs, 6 HIMARS rockets, and 447 fixed-wing drones. The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that on the same day, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed dozens of Ukrainian drones over several locations, including Belgorod Oblast.

On the same day, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces released a report stating that 128 battles occurred in the frontline areas over the past day, with Ukrainian forces repelling 58 attacks from the Russian military. Ukrainian forces launched strikes against Russian military assembly areas, artillery systems, drone control stations, command posts, and other targets. According to Ukrainian sources, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out a strike on the important energy facility in southern Russia—the Zikhoretsky oil pumping station—resulting in a large fire. This facility is one of the largest oil transshipment hubs in southern Russia, featuring large oil storage tanks and terminals.
