On March 15, Xinhua News Agency reported from Pyongyang (reporters Wang Tianliao and Wang Chao) that the long-range artillery units of the Korean People's Army in the western region conducted firepower strike training on the 14th, with 12 units of 600mm ultra-precision multiple rocket launchers and two artillery companies participating. Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, observed the training activities on-site.

It was reported that the rocket shells accurately hit target islands in the eastern waters of Korea, located 364.4 kilometers away.
