This year marks the 95th anniversary of the outbreak of the September 18 Incident. In recent days, various troops have conducted martyr commemorative activities through forms such as visits, on-site lectures, and themed forums, guiding officers and soldiers to remember history, honor the martyrs, and transform patriotic enthusiasm into practical actions for military training and preparation for war.

In autumn in Shenyang, the pines and cypresses are lush. Representatives of non-commissioned officer students from a certain military academy and over a hundred new civilian personnel training team members entered the "September 18" History Museum. The Memorial Square is solemn and dignified, with officers and soldiers lined up neatly, removing their hats and standing in silence to pay tribute to the anti-Japanese martyrs. Inside the exhibition hall, artifacts, photographs, and digital interactive devices recreate that period of blood and fire.

They then visited the school history museum, where 97-year-old anti-Japanese veteran Cheng Maoyou shared his personal experiences to teach officers and soldiers about the history of the Party and the military. He encouraged everyone to strengthen their faith and overcome all difficulties. Non-commissioned officer student Wang Chaofan said that respect for the martyrs should be transformed into motivation for military training and preparation, to strengthen their skills and be ready for battle at all times.

A certain brigade of the Northern Theater Navy organized officers and soldiers to visit the Wan Zhong Tomb Memorial Hall in Lüshunkou. The officers and soldiers laid wreaths at the memorial square, observed a moment of silence, listened to the guide recount the history of the war, and viewed the displayed artifacts. Everyone expressed that being backward means being beaten, and it is essential to remember the lessons of history, focus on their positions, enhance their capabilities, and safeguard the vast maritime territory.

A certain unit of the information support troops organized a themed forum titled "Do Not Forget the 'September 18' Incident, Strive on the Path to Strengthening the Army." The instructor systematically narrated the events of the September 18 Incident and the history of the Chinese people's resistance against Japan, explaining the winning mechanisms of modern warfare in conjunction with the functions and missions of the information support troops. After the class, officers and soldiers engaged in discussions around "Remembering History, Ensuring Victory," stating that they must strengthen their information support capabilities and improve their practical support abilities.

Remembering history, forging ahead.
