Russia claims large-scale strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises and port facilities
On October 7 local time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian military carried out a large-scale strike using land-based, sea-based, air-based precision weapons and drones against Ukrainian targets in the early hours of the day. Strikes were conducted on military industrial enterprises in Kyiv city, Kyiv region, Chernihiv region, Kirovohrad region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Poltava region, and Kharkiv region, which produce and store "Flamingo" cruise missiles and medium- to long-range drones for the "Fire Point" company. In Odesa region, strikes targeted port and ship repair infrastructure as well as vessels used by the Ukrainian military.
