On February 7, Xinhua News Agency reported from Moscow (Reporter Bao Nuomin) that the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that in the past 24 hours, the Russian military launched a large-scale strike against Ukraine's military energy and transportation infrastructure.

The statement said that the Russian military used precision weapons, including "Kinzhal" hypersonic missiles, in the strikes, and all designated targets were hit. Additionally, in the past day, the Russian air defense system shot down one Ukrainian guided aerial bomb and 168 drones.

On the morning of the 7th, the Ukrainian Air Force posted on social media that from the evening of the 6th to the early morning of the 7th, the Russian military carried out a large-scale airstrike on Ukraine's critical infrastructure using 39 missiles, including two "Zircon" hypersonic missiles, and 408 drones.
