On July 12, Xinhua News Agency reported from Moscow (Reporter Zhou Liang) that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that from the night of the 11th to the early morning of the 12th, the Russian military carried out large-scale strikes and destroyed multiple facilities of the Ukrainian army.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Russian military struck and destroyed the Ukrainian army's fuel, energy, and transportation facilities, remote drone storage points, ammunition depots, and temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian army and foreign mercenaries in 158 areas. In the past 24 hours, the Russian military has destroyed a total of 585 drones and 11 aerial bombs launched by the Ukrainian army.

On the 12th, the acting governor of Belgorod Oblast, Shvayev, posted on social media that in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army launched over 100 attacks on 11 areas of the oblast, resulting in 1 death and 7 injuries. The Russian side intercepted a total of 111 drones.

According to Russian media reports, due to drone attacks, several Russian cities temporarily restricted the takeoff and landing of civilian aircraft from the night of the 11th to the early morning of the 12th, causing dozens of flights to be delayed.
