Saudi Arabia Confirms Coalition Strikes Against Yemen's Houthi Forces

On the 25th local time, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, stated that the coalition's military operations are targeting the military objectives of the Houthi armed group, which are related to threats against maritime navigation in the Red Sea.

Major General Al-Maliki stated that the port of Hodeidah in Yemen has not been attacked, and all Yemeni ports, including Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and Salif, are open to maritime navigation and operating normally, receiving commercial vessels carrying food, goods, fuel, and construction materials. Flights to Yemeni airports are also operating normally. The Houthi armed group continues to refuse to allow flights to take off from Sanaa International Airport and insists on besieging the Yemeni people.

Major General Al-Maliki reiterated that the coalition command will continue to take all necessary operational measures to protect its vessels and safeguard the interests and national assets of Saudi Arabia.
