Haifa, Israel, July 13, 2026 – SCD, a global leader in the development and manufacture of advanced infrared detector technologies, today announced that it has secured three multi-million-dollar orders from leading global customers for its advanced HOT HD MWIR detectors.

The detectors will be integrated into next-generation counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), long-range surveillance platforms, border protection systems, and homeland security applications.

The new orders reflect growing global demand for SCD’s HOT MWIR technology and highlight the company’s ability to support large-scale defense programs through reliable, high-volume manufacturing.

SCD’s vertically integrated manufacturing combines advanced infrared semiconductor production, detector fabrication, Dewar packaging, optical integration, cooled detector assembly, and long-life cooling technologies.
