The pre-selected command soldiers are "acting squad leaders" chosen from outstanding conscripts, marking a transformation in their military careers. Recently, a certain division of the Xinjiang Military District organized a training session for pre-selected command soldiers at an altitude of over 3000 meters in the snowy plateau, honing professional skills and tactical coordination in a high-altitude, cold environment, and testing the comprehensive military quality of the officers and soldiers.

In the early morning, as the emergency assembly whistle sounded, the participating officers and soldiers quickly completed the full assembly with all equipment, testing their emergency response capabilities in a low-oxygen environment. Transitioning to the training ground, professional reinforcement immediately commenced. Mortar and rocket launcher operations were conducted simultaneously, covering everything from equipment structure to aiming and firing, from individual operations to team coordination, with each person and item undergoing rigorous assessments. Snipers relied on rocks and slopes to conceal themselves, practicing stealth and observation under conditions of strong winds and low oxygen, honing their skills to eliminate enemies with a single shot.

After consolidating individual skills, comprehensive tactical drills followed. The officers and soldiers formed combat teams, utilizing terrain for alternating cover and coordinated assaults. Obstacles such as barbed wire and minefields realistically simulated battlefield conditions, with teams closely cooperating to integrate what they had learned into real combat processes, achieving seamless transitions between training and combat.

Zhang Qiang, a certain division of the Xinjiang Military District: In our pre-selected soldier training team, we integrate real combat requirements throughout the entire teaching process, innovating training models that focus on common subjects, professional skills, tactical command, and also on practical subjects such as emergency response, ensuring that teaching closely aligns with the needs of the troops. We aim to cultivate every trainee into a backbone talent capable of command, proficient in training, and knowledgeable in management.

From professional refinement to tactical integration, from basic standards to competitive challenges, the participating officers and soldiers engaged in rigorous training and hard-fought competitions on the snowy plateau, completing yet another transformation to be competent in their roles.
