Sources said that currently, the capital of Kidal region, Kidal city, is still under the control of the separatist armed group "Azawad Liberation Front," and gunfire occurred that day.
According to eyewitnesses and local media reports, some roads connecting Mali's capital Bamako with other major cities in the country have recently been blocked, including sections of the roads from Bamako to Kourémalé, Ségou, Ouélessebougou, and Kita, as well as the road section from Kougiala to Konsegala. The related disruptions have affected vehicle passage and the transportation of goods.
On April 25, coordinated attacks targeting military camps, airports, and other military objectives occurred in multiple locations in Mali.
