Xinhua News Agency, Wuhan, August 24 (Gao Yujiao, Li Dongdong) The closing ceremony of the joint training exercise "God Eagle-2026" between China and Belarus was held on the 24th at a training center of the Chinese Air Force.

Since its start on August 12, the joint training has been organized and implemented in three phases: basic strengthening training, coordinated precision training, and comprehensive exercises. Both Chinese and Belarusian sides adopted a mixed grouping model, focusing on joint urban anti-terror operations, closely aligning with real combat scenarios to jointly complete exercises in reconnaissance and counter-reconnaissance, seizing and defending control, and clearing and holding positions, effectively testing the two militaries' joint command and anti-terror combat capabilities.

During the joint training, both sides also conducted special seminars, sports competitions, and cultural exchanges, learning from each other's training concepts and methods, enhancing camaraderie among officers and soldiers, and building a consensus for cooperation.

It is reported that this is the fourth time China and Belarus have held the "God Eagle" series of joint training exercises. The "God Eagle" series has become an important platform for joint anti-terrorism efforts between the two militaries, and holds significant importance for deepening practical cooperation and jointly maintaining regional peace and stability.
