On June 22, the Navy's Liaoning aircraft carrier group successfully completed its long-range realistic combat training and safely returned to its home port in Qingdao. During the training, the group insisted on realistic combat training, based on the requirements of long-range combat operations, setting real scenarios, entering real environments, and practicing real cases. They planned and organized exercises for air defense, maritime strikes, support and cover, comprehensive rescue in distant seas, and actual weapon use, conducting multiple batches of ship and aircraft offensive and defensive confrontations across day and night, continuously deepening the specialized training of main combat modules, effectively testing the operational application of the carrier group in distant sea systems.
In a certain area of the Western Pacific, the Liaoning carrier group conducted joint exercises with an amphibious assault ship group, with both sides meticulously planning and organizing integrated training, which fully honed the operational effectiveness of the carrier group in conjunction with the amphibious assault ship group for long-range combat actions.
