The Russian side claims that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has been attacked more than 50 times a day.
According to Russian media reports on June 18, CEO of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation, Alexey Likhachev, stated that the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been subjected to more than 50 attacks per day for several consecutive days.
Likhachev mentioned that the Ukrainian military has been launching attacks on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the city of Enerhodar where the plant is located, using drones and other means. With the tacit approval of the West, the frequency and intensity of the attacks have been increasing, targeting not only the plant itself but also the city's civilian infrastructure.
