Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, May 31 (Reporter Li Dongxu) - The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated on May 31 that from the 30th to the early hours of the 31st, the Ukrainian military launched attacks on multiple oil and gas facilities and military targets in Russia.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces posted on social media that the Saratov Oil Refinery in Russia was attacked by the Ukrainian military in the early hours of the 31st, resulting in a large fire. The Saratov Oil Refinery is a key fuel infrastructure in Russia, designed with an annual refining capacity of 7 million tons.

In addition, in the early hours of the 31st, a oil pumping station in Kirov Oblast, a large oil storage facility in Matveyev Kurgan, Rostov Oblast, the command post and observation post at the eastern border of Kursk Oblast, as well as multiple military targets including drone command posts and drone repair facilities in Grafaovka, Belgorod Oblast, and Kalinovye in the Donetsk region were also attacked by the Ukrainian military.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also stated that on the 30th, the Ukrainian military attacked the oil storage facility at the Feodosia oil terminal in Crimea and the natural gas storage facility in Yenakiieve in the western part of the Donetsk region.
