U.S. Military Announces End of New Round of Large-Scale Strikes Against Iran

On July 29 local time, the U.S. Central Command issued a statement indicating that at 10 PM Eastern Time on the 29th, U.S. Central Command concluded a round of large-scale strikes against Iran. The statement noted that Central Command forces targeted dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sites within Iran, including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, coastal surveillance and defense positions, as well as facilities related to maritime combat capabilities. The strikes aimed to further weaken the threats posed by Iran and its proxies to U.S. forces, commercial shipping, and neighboring Gulf countries.

The U.S. military stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched multiple ballistic missiles from within Iran on July 28, attempting to carry out a surprise attack on U.S. forces stationed in the Middle East, all Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted. Currently, over 50,000 U.S. military personnel are deployed in the Middle East, maintaining a high level of vigilance and focus, equipped with strong combat capabilities, and ready to respond to various situations at any time.
