On October 30 local time, the Iranian Navy announced that its forces had destroyed and sunk an enemy unmanned vessel operating in the eastern area of the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian side also stated that two tankers operating in the eastern no-go zone and unsafe area of the Strait of Hormuz, disregarding the warnings and regulations issued by Iran, were damaged and caught fire after hitting mines. Iran warned the enemy that any actions, infiltration, or provocative behavior within the jurisdiction of the Iranian armed forces would be met with a strong counterattack from the Iranian Navy.
