海面的阳光反射非常强，在特定角度下会严重干扰飞行员的视线，增加操作难度。
海面特征具有高度的重复性，给分辨天地线带来一定的难度，特别是在复杂气象条件下，而且也容易造成视觉疲劳。
在海上超低空飞行，大海会像一面镜子，这种镜像效应可能会导致飞行员产生空间定向障碍，同时也为准确判断和水面的实际高度带来一定困难。
更重要的是海上飞行表演缺少明显的地标，一个重要的解决办法是在海上设置一些浮标或者参照物，同时要进行一定程度的适应性训练，而且要在适合表演的时间段进行飞行表演。
