Yemeni government says Houthi attacks in Mocha region have resulted in 7 dead and 30 injured
On the 9th local time, Yemen's Minister of Public Health and Population, Qasim Bashayb, stated that the attacks launched by the Houthi armed forces on the port city of Mocha and the city of Mocha in Taiz province have resulted in 7 deaths and 30 injuries, including 2 children. The attacks also affected a local Saudi field hospital.
The Yemeni government forces issued a statement on the 10th saying that the attacks have resulted in the deaths of 4 government forces members and 3 civilians, with another 30 people injured, most of whom are civilians, and the majority have been discharged after treatment. The air defense forces successfully intercepted and shot down 11 Houthi armed drones involved in the attack.
Previously, on the 9th, the Houthi armed forces issued a statement claiming that in response to the ongoing attacks by Saudi-backed armed forces on Yemen's western coast and in Taiz province, the Houthi armed forces launched a "large-scale, high-intensity" military operation against the military assembly and weaponry of the Saudi-backed armed forces in the Mocha area.
