Xinhua News Agency, Kuwait City, November 4 (Reporter Yin Zhao) - Sana'a reports: The Yemeni Houthi armed group stated on the 4th that it used ballistic missiles and drones to attack Riyadh International Airport in Saudi Arabia, as well as several military facilities near the Yemen-Saudi border.

The military spokesperson for the Houthi armed group, Yahya Saree, stated on social media that the organization launched a ballistic missile at King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, saying, "The missile hit the target directly, causing severe damage to the airport facilities."

Saree claimed that the airport is now "unsafe," urging international airlines, aviation personnel, and travelers to avoid Saudi airspace, except for "Mecca and Medina."

Saree also stated that the organization launched three attacks that morning on radar facilities, military bases, and command control facilities of border defense forces in the southwestern border area of Saudi Arabia, resulting in casualties among several Saudi officers and soldiers.

Saree further mentioned that the Houthis launched six ballistic missiles at the gathering points of the government forces in the northern Yemeni province of Al-Jawf, causing casualties among government soldiers.

Recently, the mutual attacks between Saudi Arabia and the Houthi armed group have intensified. At the same time, clashes between the Houthis and the Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces have also become increasingly fierce on multiple fronts.
