Yemen's Houthi Forces Claim to Strike Targets Inside Saudi Arabia with Dozens of Ballistic Missiles
On the evening of the 25th local time, the Houthi armed group in Yemen issued a statement claiming that the organization launched three military operations using dozens of ballistic missiles against targets within Saudi Arabia on the same day.
The statement said that the first round of operations struck King Khalid International Airport located in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and stated that "the operation was successfully carried out." The second round targeted the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, with objectives including aircraft parking areas, ammunition depots, drone control centers, and other important facilities. The third round targeted the coast guard base in Jizan.
The statement also warned international and regional airlines, aviation personnel, and travelers that, except for the airspace over King Khalid International Airport and Mecca and Medina, there are security risks in the rest of Saudi airspace.
