Xinhua News Agency, Kuwait City, April 9 (Reporter Yin Zhao) - Sana'a reports: Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Yemeni Houthi armed group, stated on the 9th that Israel's ongoing aggression against Lebanon could lead to a full resumption of conflict, and claimed to have "completely and finally prevented Israel and the United States from using the Red Sea for hostile military purposes."

On the same day, Abdul-Malik delivered a speech via the Masirah TV station controlled by the Houthi armed group, stating that the United States and Israel had launched a large-scale aggression, committing "crimes against humanity," but had failed to achieve their objectives.

He indicated that even if the current round of confrontation comes to a temporary halt under a future negotiation framework, it does not mean the end of the conflict, nor does it signify the end of the threats from Israel, as its continued aggression against Lebanon could lead to a full resumption of conflict.

Abdul-Malik stated that efforts by all parties for political negotiations could only succeed if Israel stops its aggression against Lebanon and all members of the "Resistance Axis," and commits to no longer infringe upon Iranian airspace. "Israel must not forcibly establish its 'arbitrary infringement' rules in this region."
