Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on the 30th that Russia launched large-scale missile and drone attacks on multiple regions of Ukraine that day, resulting in at least 8 deaths and dozens of injuries, with residential buildings, civilian enterprises, and infrastructure damaged in many areas. Zelensky posted on his official social media platform that a private residence in the city of Dnipro in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was hit by a Russian ballistic missile, killing a family of five, including parents and three children, while two other children were rescued. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing at a residential area in Lviv that was attacked, with rescuers clearing debris and searching for trapped individuals.

Zelensky noted that the attacks affected Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Lviv Oblast, Poltava Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast, Mykolaiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Vinnytsia Oblast, Cherkasy Oblast, and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, with dozens of ordinary residential buildings, civilian enterprises, and infrastructure destroyed or damaged.

He stated that during this attack, the Russian side launched more than 70 missiles, a significant number of which were ballistic missiles, and deployed over 280 drones. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed more than 260 drones and shot down a considerable number of cruise missiles. Zelensky emphasized that despite a severe shortage of air defense missiles provided by partners, the Ukrainian military continues to carry out air defense tasks. He called on partners to expedite the provision of anti-ballistic missile interceptors and stated that delays in assistance would lead to similar destruction and casualties.

There has been no response from the Russian side regarding this matter. (CCTV reporter Wang Jinyan)
