► Al Fahd Consulting & Technology Group and French company EOS Technologie announce exclusive strategic and industrial partnership in Qatar
On the occasion of Milipol Qatar 2026 and its 30th anniversary, Al Fahd Consulting & Technology Group and EOS Technologie, a French industrial company specializing in drone and interception systems, announce their exclusive strategic and industrial partnership in Qatar.
The partners now make public this cooperation, formalized in agreements dated 26 August 2026 and kept confidential until this announcement.
The partnership strengthens industrial, technological and human ties between France and Qatar, drawing on Canadian expertise. It addresses current and emerging defence and security challenges, particularly surveillance, the protection of populations and critical infrastructure, and counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS).
1. Strategic Industrial Partnership and Immediate Investment
The partnership includes an immediate equity investment by Al Fahd Consulting & Technology Group in EOS Technologie. The first phase of this investment finances rapid demonstrations and accelerates production to meet Qatar’s defence and security needs.
The investment strengthens EOS Technologie’s research and development, expands its industrial capacity in France and accelerates international growth. It supports joint projects in Qatar and the development and fulfilment of orders, building the capacity to respond rapidly to immediate and evolving operational needs worldwide.
The investment is being finalized, with the remaining completion formalities and governmental approvals under way.
Together, the partners establish a lasting industrial and technological presence in Qatar while strengthening the French industrial base. Their cooperation creates economic value, develops local expertise and opens new industrial opportunities in both countries.
2. New Product Demonstrations and Rapid Orders in Qatar
Live demonstrations of new EOS Technologie products take place in Qatar in the fourth quarter of 2026. Orders will follow after the demonstrations, accelerating deliveries and maintaining Qatar’s defence capabilities at the highest level.
3. A Proposed International Centre of Excellence in Qatar
The partners envisage establishing an international Centre of Excellence in Qatar, with a target opening before the end of 2026. The proposed Centre will focus on UAS, counter-drone technologies and long-range interception, including EOS Technologie’s Sentinel platform.
The Centre will bring together research and development, innovation, engineering, industrial integration, training and technical support. Its potential activities will include:
– Joint work on protecting populations, territories and strategic infrastructure;
– Demonstration, testing and evaluation of technological solutions;
– Applied research, innovation and adaptation to local operational requirements;
– Training for operators, engineers and maintenance personnel;
– Systems integration, maintenance and long-term technical support;
– Collaboration with French, Qatari and Canadian academic institutions, research laboratories and industrial partners.
The Centre will develop sustainable local expertise, improve system availability and adaptation to operational conditions, and support new technological capabilities. It will position Qatar as an international hub for UAV and counter-drone expertise and innovation.
Its establishment, scope, timetable and implementation arrangements remain subject to further discussion and approval by the partners and relevant authorities.
4. Developing the Next Generation of Talent
Al Fahd Consulting & Technology Group and EOS Technologie place young people, knowledge sharing and talent development at the center of their cooperation. They build lasting connections between the academic, scientific and industrial ecosystems of France and Qatar.
Joint programmes bring together students, young engineers, researchers, academics and industry specialists through training, engineering exchanges, university partnerships, industrial placements and collaborative research. They offer advanced development pathways in robotics, aeronautics, autonomous systems, engineering and security technologies.
This academic and human dimension develops a new generation of French and Qatari talent, transfers expertise and connects future engineers and researchers through a lasting network.
5. Strengthening the Partnership Between France and Qatar
This initiative reflects the depth of the strategic relationship between France and Qatar, founded on mutual trust and close cooperation in defence, security, education, research and innovation.
By bringing together investment, industrial development, technological innovation and training, the partnership strengthens economic and human ties between the two countries. Investing, developing and training together are the pillars of this long-term cooperation.
6. Building the Next Thirty Years at Milipol Qatar
Milipol Qatar’s 30th anniversary provides a symbolic setting for this announcement, reflecting three decades of dialogue between institutional, industrial and technological stakeholders. The partners establish Qatar as a major regional center for their cooperation, with a focus on the security challenges of the next thirty years.
Mutual Statement by Tassadit Gharbi (CEO, Al Fahd) & Olivier Gatti (President, EOS)
“Our partnership establishes a lasting industrial and technological presence in Qatar, advances drone and counter-drone capabilities, and places training at the heart of our cooperation.
Combining EOS Technologie’s innovations with Al Fahd’s expertise in defense and security, engineers from both companies will work side by side to develop new capabilities and foster local talent.
