Israel Attacks Multiple Locations in Southern Lebanon

Xinhua News Agency, Beirut/Jerusalem, July 4 - According to a report from the Lebanese National News Agency on the 4th, Israel conducted airstrikes on several towns in southern Lebanon that day, resulting in one person being injured. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement later that evening, stating that earlier that day, they had killed an armed individual in the "security zone" in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli armed helicopter fired five missiles at the town of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon. Additionally, an Israeli drone attacked a residential area in the town of Mansouri in the Tyre region, injuring a civilian.

A source from the Lebanese Civil Defense told Xinhua reporters that Israeli warplanes also conducted airstrikes on a highland in the Nabatiyeh region of southern Lebanon, while IDF artillery shelled the Bent Jbeil area in southern Lebanon.

The IDF stated on the 4th that its soldiers discovered an armed individual in the Majdal Zoun area of the "security zone" in southern Lebanon that day, and the soldiers immediately opened fire, killing him after a search.

Israel, the United States, and Lebanon concluded a new round of ceasefire and withdrawal negotiations in Washington on June 26 and announced a tripartite framework agreement, but since June 27, Israel has repeatedly launched military strikes against targets within Lebanon.
