Navy Hospital Ship "Auspicious Ark" Technically Docks at Our Support Base in Djibouti

On the morning of August 11, local time

the Navy hospital ship "Peace Ark"

executing the "Harmonious Mission-2026"

made a technical stop at our support base in Djibouti

At around 7 a.m.

the "Peace Ark" hospital ship

docked at the pier of our support base in Djibouti

Task personnel lined up in formation according to naval etiquette

waving to the personnel who came to welcome them at the pier

Staff from the Chinese Embassy in Djibouti

officers and soldiers from our support base in Djibouti

and representatives from the Navy's 48th Escort Task Force

held a welcome ceremony at the pier

After the welcome ceremony

our ambassador to Djibouti boarded the hospital ship for a visit

and held discussions with representatives of the task force

During the technical stop

the hospital ship will conduct fuel and main and subsidiary food supplies

and provide medical services

for the officers and soldiers at our support base in Djibouti

and the Navy's 48th Escort Task Force

Since setting sail on July 22

the task force executing the "Harmonious Mission-2026"

has carried out

anti-terrorism and anti-piracy operations, helicopter takeoffs and landings,

maritime medical rescue, reconnaissance and evidence collection training

to enhance emergency response capabilities

and ensure personnel and equipment remain in optimal condition
