The "Blade-2026" joint anti-terrorism training between China and Indonesia is being held in Guangzhou, with both sides' participating troops entering the practical operation phase.

This "Blade-2026" joint training aims to enhance the anti-terrorism combat capabilities of both China and Indonesia, distinguishing six specialized positions. The participating members are mixed into groups and organized training in a manner that emphasizes discussion before practical training, foundational skills before application, and individual skills before team formation.

Currently, the participating troops have completed adaptive training in several specialties, including the use of handguns, battlefield first aid, camouflage and concealment for sniper teams, and constructing positions. Additionally, the Chinese side has conducted demonstrations and teaching on the use of unmanned equipment and reconnaissance gear, combat tactics, and breaching and bomb disposal. The Chinese guidance team and the Indonesian side have meticulously refined and improved the training plan, implementation of exercises, and comprehensive support, achieving complementary strengths, capability enhancement, and efficient joint training effects through mutual communication and cooperation.

Chinese participating troop member Liu Wenzhao: Recently, both China and Indonesia have mainly communicated about engineering demolition, manned and unmanned coordination, as well as close combat and sniping. What impressed me the most is that our instructors are quite professional, their theoretical knowledge is solid, and their preparation before class is very thorough.

Next, the joint training will transition from specialized practical training to team coordination training, focusing on operational planning, area reconnaissance, and rescue operations, with specialized training in live-fire shooting, helicopter insertion, and man-machine coordination.
